The PASIFIC CALL 1 results have been announced! Dr Josefina Rodriguez-Arribas with the fellowship hosted at the Institute for the History of Science, PAS

On 16 November 2021, PASIFIC CALL 1 results were announced.

Out of 348 applications, the experts have awarded 35 researchers from 15 countries who will conduct their research at the Polish Academy of Sciences. Their projects cover 17 disciplines from all three panels – Physical Sciences and Engineering (15 Fellowships), Life Sciences (10), and Social Sciences and Humanities (10).

We are pleased to announce that Dr Josefina Rodriguez-Arribas received funding for a project titled Minority Cultures on the Periphery of Science: The Jews and the Circulation of Scientific Goods (13th–17th c.). At the Institute for the History of Science, Dr Rodriguez-Arribas will work closely with Prof. Jarosław Włodarczyk (History of Exact Sciences Research Unit) and the Old and Rare Book Studies Research Unit.
