Mikhail Khorkov the second PASIFIC Fellow at the Institute for the History of Science, PAS!

We are pleased to announce that Prof. Mikhail Khorkov is the second PASIFIC Fellow at the Institute for the History of Science, PAS, where he will implement a project titled Transmission of texts and individualisation of knowledge at the end of the 15th century: Carthusian libraries as transregional hubs for accumulation of ideas and practices of their reception. The project is interdisciplinary and, at our Institute, Prof. Khorkov will work closely with Prof. Jacek Soszyński and the Old and Rare Book Studies Research Unit.

We also would like to remind you that PASIFIC Call 2 – in which further 15 fellowships will be awarded – is open through 30 December 2021. More information on the eligibility of candidates and potential Supervisors at our Institute can be found at https://pasific.pan.pl.
